Meet the team

Dr Nick Murry

Nick is a sustainability and climate change professional with experience in both sustainability management and environmental consultancy.  Nick has worked in public and private sectors, in the UK and internationally, most recently advising organisations on their path to Net Zero. He is also an Associate Lecturer in Sustainability and Environmental Management at Bath Spa University.

Nick is a Wiltshire Councillor and Chippenham Town councillor.

Alex Locton

Alex has over 15 years’ experience delivering renewable energy and zero carbon technology including work for some of the most prestigious clients in the country. His experience has included senior roles with British Gas and T H WHITE, consultancy with Good Energy and as well as running his own business in this time. Alex is vice chair of our partner organisation Zero Chippenham.

Dr Karen Simpson/Jones

Karen is an experienced water professional and has recently completed her Doctorate in water efficiency.

Karen jointly coordinates our partner organisation – Zero Chippenham’s community outreach activities.

Adam Walton

Adam Walton

Adam has been active on environmental issues for over 40 years, having started a local branch of the Ecology Party (forerunner of the Green Party) as a teenager in the late1970s.  He is one of the founders of Corsham Climate Action, Wiltshire Climate Alliance, and a founding director of Bath and West Community Energy. He is a retired management consultant with experience in strategy, planning and organisational change.

Gemma has worked as a professional in Renewable energy for much of her career and is currently Director of Policy for Solar UK. 

James Gladding

James currently leads the Community Energy group for our partner organisation Sustainable Calne.
